i found a glitch on aquatic ruin zone if you stand on one of the rising pillars in act 2 boss and he hits it you won't die the game will freeze

i did this in a home appliance store when it was hot haha and the assistant was struggling to find a key for the cabinet :D!!! but i did it where you get air before the end of act 1 and fly right over the spinning sign and you revert back to a jogging sonic int the top right corner.. at whatever age i was back then i thought i was a hacker haha

you don't have to let the computer take over, just jump immediately after you hit the sign, and stay in-screen. it locks up the game

This is a common and well known glitch. Most of the time, it won't freeze the game, but you don't want to do it too much or it will freeze eventually. You seem to be unlucky with the freezing problem. They didn't fix it either on the Mega Collection series, lol.

I've done this a lot. It doesn't get stuck if u use debug mode. Idk if this has happened to anyone else, but if so, could u tell me how u did it. In Sonic 3, After beating the lvl 2 Act 2 boss, I somehow turned supersonic around the time that I beat the boss (can't remember when) but it didn't wear off, and it said, Super Sonic has gotten through Act 2. Has this happened to anyone else?

You can also do this with debug code added in (1-9-9-2-1-1-2-4 after super sonic code) and just hit the transform button over and over again and you will keep turning into super sonic, so long as you have at least 50 rings. You can move yourself back into view this way too at the end of an act. In this case though, it actually completes the act.

Whenever I do that, the game doesn't lock on me and I go to the next stage. Also when I do it, I can turn in to super sonic multiple times while I'm in the air by hammering the jump button.

Note, to avoid having this glich end your session, jump AFTER the scoring screen appears. Transformation wears off once you pass through it, but you can TRY to tranform again since you still have 50+ rings, but then the game is like "He already flipped the sign" and gets Sonic stuck.

You still get stuck in the air, but at least the game will load up the next level.

Even with debug mode, get stuck over again, so wait.

Thats no glitch! That happens to everybody if you have all seven chaos emeralds and have over 50 rings! If you jump up in the air after you hit the sign, the game thinks you wanna turn into super sonic again so it does it!!
