  • 1:33 :O

    Der da der

  • what anime is this from?

  • look at the first word of each sentence.

What the hell is this? It's like V-22 vs A6M Ruth, REALLY?

The language hasn't been changed, and the subbs don't comunicate well enough.

Fuck it, Ima go watch Area 88.

  • :O

  • @harlequin2262 That's not a droptank dude xD That's Rufe version of zeke, seaplane. That are 3 pontoons

  • @onecheman

Huh. Well, I guess I can't explain that. ..the pilot concealed a still there, perhaps? Ah, well, the rest of the series is pretty accurate, as far as I can tell.

  • A pontoon doesn't explode...

  • @onecheman

I think it was meant to be a drop tank.

  • @onecheman following the series, there was an fuel tank in there. that explodes.

  • @wingedheroes In the real fighter WASN'T a fuel tank, if you fill the ponton with fuel, the aircraft wouldn't float ;).

  • @onecheman but there could have been an fuel tank in it. not that it entirely was filled with fuel, but only an small part of it. but as I said, I don't know if the real plane had this feature.

  • @wingedheroes I mean real plane, in the anime, the drawer can do what he want... historicaly or not.

  • Amazing if that was a fictional V22 the engines were suppose to tilt only not the wings an A6M could fly just as fast but I doubt that they can accelerate as easy as turbo prop engines.

  • 海軍は英語使ってましたよ。

    敵性言語だとか言ってたのは陸軍の一部と在郷軍人です。

    ゼロ戦のことをわざわざレイセンと呼び直すようなことはしてませんでした。

    潜水艦乗りだって、訓練で使ってたメンタンブロー(メインタンク・ブロー)、バラスト解放、などをすべて日本語に約し直すなんて面倒なことしてません。

  • @isam133 兵学校で英語教育廃止されそうになったりしてますけどね(^^;

    他が知らんのをいいことに隠語が英語ってのがなんか微苦笑。

  • @Aircanadafreak99 at 1942, the japanese territory was só big as US. After the end of WW2, Japan lost some areas, like Manchuria.

  • cool

  • a erro on info, no Zero in Video...

it is as Kawanishi N1K1 "Kyofu"

  • There's no N1K1 in this video, they are A6M2-N float plane fighters and the Umidori a fictional version of a V-22.

  • JSDF is to defend Japan itself until bulk US Forces can arrive to provide a more solid defense for Japan, not to defend US forces there.

  • It isn't a carrier, it's a destroyer, some sort of improved Kongo Class, which is a modification of the United States Navy's Arleigh Burke class, with greater weaponry and Aegis combat systems, also, because todays destroyer are much bigger than in WW2, that ship is actually the size of a ww2 era cruiser

  • Same premise, different play out.

  • Uh dude those aren't Zeros those are Rufe float planes.

  • which are zeros with floats, duh!

  • I know that but they wernt classified as "Zero" to the allies.

  • true

  • Cool glad we could keep this from turning in to a fight. This is a cool show though.

  • They were called "Rufes"

  • Excelente serie

  • In real life, those planes would have burst into flames.

  • Actually i doubt it, since the vulcan is a lot more accurate, along with that the Rufe's float doesnt have anything inside it, it is just a float.

And the pilot aimed to the holder of the float itself. >.>

  • not necessarily, In il-2, I took the A6M2, and went againt the A6M2-N and shot off its center float with percison accuracy, the plane flew arounf for a few minutes, but lost its fuel, and landed on the water. however when I tried to do it with the hellcat or wildcart it did burst into flames, probaly because of the range of the guns and the type of ammo

  • lol that second pilot : owned

  • i love this scene

  • thats a rufe wich is a zero with a float attached

  • it's not zero.

  • That is one sort of zero.

    Nakajima A6M2-N.

    Please read Wikipedia.

  • I know about that. in the original anime the dialogue says "never expected to fight against a zero fighter" but that's clearly a mistake. the fighter is a developed version of zero but you can't call all developed models as zero fighter. otherwise how many zero fighters were there?

  • I see. That's right. I agree with you. You know a lot about Zero fighter. Are you a Briton?

  • Perhaps not all pilots have encyclopaedic knowledge of world war 2 aircraft.

  • Actually, all versions of the A6M, including the A6M2, A6M3/a, A6M5/c, A6M7, A6M8 and A6M2-N pictured here, were 'Zeroes', derived from the japanese name of 'Reisen' - Type 0 Fighter.

The USN used either Zero or Zeke - generally Zeke referred to later war models, from A6M5 onwards.
