  • 11:05 Okay, who divided by zero again?

  • black holes are scary.. the nothingness!!!

  • wow.... if the ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM exploded, no one would care at all. I'M NOTHING!!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • something about the pulsar (and the quasar later on) gives me chills... i'm not sure why.

  • What's really cool is that parts of this were used by Noisecontrollers in their track "Faster 'n' Further"

  • it's so beautiful I had no idea and now i'm thinking about my inner universe :))

  • what if indeed we are a black hole? wish is possible. If a star explodes it can become a black hole. figure we used to be a star and it exploded (big bang) and that now we are in a black hole and we are trapped in it.

  • @Kcinnayse That makes so much sense in a way, yet at the same time it doesn't. o~o

  • @PvtRedemption yea well, i heared many scientists believe that, i stick with the theory of us being a black hole BUT... the universe is always expanding so if we are indeed a black hole, than black holes should also expand... as far as I know, a black hole doesnt expand.

  • so they think a black hole is another universe wich consist of other black holes and those are again universes and so on? hes right, i'm getting crazy lol

  • I think God is the Universe it'self, the Universe creates, it destroys, without the Sun, we have nothing, death of stars give us the elements that we have on the Earth. Anyone can agree?

  • am I the only one getting dizzy here ? :S

  • @nawwar20

    dizzy and chilling

  • part at 11:20 to 11:45 is epic

  • the music for the black hole is fucking EPIC!

  • It works masturbating to this xD

  • Actualy, money would be a better term than taxes.

  • It's just sad that only a small amount of humans can appreciate the shear wonder of the unverse. All they think of is: what's for lunch, when will the goverment decrease taxes, what did our team score? We are all but insignificant pieces, no, atoms of this wonderouse place we are so lucky to be a part of. This is why space should be our priority, not taxes.

  • @enigmatude316 i think the thumbed up comment was sarcastic mate.... . a 10 year old who likes star wars prolly made this documentarys text.

  • this is a is one massive sta.. euh joke.

A docu for mental retards. the narrator and his text are just pathetic.

  • @Manakaiser Are you religious? or what else do you find wrong with this documentary?

  • @MikeyZeov religious are u kidding me? im the contrary i pity creationists and such. its just how simple the content is, it feels like a documnetary for kids..... it only tells what nearly every moron knows, i exprected some infos i didnt know before so i was disappointed if u must know.

  • @Manakaiser Well since you called me and 14000 other viewers retarded, my first conclusion had to be that you where religious.

The documentary is great, people like it (notice the like / hate difference in the corner?).. so you should probably find somewhere else if you're so smart as you claim.

  • @MikeyZeov i dont claim to be extraordinarily smart, knowledge has nothing to do with intellect, i just enjoy the topic of astronomy, astrophysics and happend to have a bit of knowledge about it. and it wasnt meant that way to call anyone retard my bad for that formulation. I just expected more lets leave it at that. no hard feelings.

  • this is such a great documentary.

  • How do I get Permission off National Geographic to use this video in my song???? ... "THE PERFECT QUESTION." An Exploratory 12.46 Minute Musical & Lyrical Cosmic Journey through the beginnings of Space and Time into the complexities of far away Galaxies and the Unlimited Nebula and the Forever Expanding Universe of your own Spirit Mind! ... REVIEWS ... "The BEST MUSIC PIECE since Pink Floyd's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ....FREE LISTEN AT "NAPSTER GARY SHAW" or DOWNLOAD at "ITUNES GARY SHAW."

  • *Head Explodes*

  • in thu centr ov our galaxy ther iz a suprmasiv blakhol, bilions * thu mas ov our sun.(@).

  • 13:12 --> what are "all these stars" he is referring to???

  • @GalenAus he is referring for the stars we are seing in THAT moment of the journey.

  • @difficultjuggernaut ahh okay thanks!

  • How I wonder who is this jerk who dislikes this magnificent documentary...Why get educated by documentaries when it is a lot easier to grow stupid by watching justin bieber or pornography...Ignorant baboons

  • MrStealthera

search for Anne Nikitin, pillars of creation

  • Can any one please tell me where can i get the music starting from 7:52..

  • 6:50 Black holes are eating everything, which might create another universe in it.

Which means black hole = God?

    Bible says there is no matter, no time, no space that affects God;

also we can't meet him personally otherwise it would destroy us (another black hole)? And only He has power to create or destroy

That would give simple explanation of ever-creation and decode Bible's message about creation

  • @gargusio more or less, but the bible also says god is eternal, black holes are not. Once they run out of matter and energy to consume, at some point in the distant future, they will just explode.

the man was right though, black holes do represent the limit of human understanding, something that we arent even sure is god or created by god or if there is even another universe inside it. maybe our destiny is to find out someday.

  • @metalraider187

As far as I know, Black Holes do not explode, they evaporate through quantum mechanics, but you're looking at like, an atom every 1 million years. I prefer the theory that matter entering a black hole in Universe X emerges from an even more hypothetical white hole in Universe Y. That white hole represents the Big Bang of that specific Y Universe. Maybe i just can't imagine the center of a black hole having infinite gravity and density, but matter has to go somewhere in my mind.

  • @TheKainMan I think they are sort of the big bang theory in miniature, because at some point, once the black hole cannot consume anymore matter, the radiation and magnetic forces and gravity(?) combine into some unknown super force to overpower the gravity and density of the black hole, hence the explosion theory.

though your dual universes idea is very interesting, makes you wonder if its a reciprocating cycle.

  • @TheKainMan then again, you and i must remember that these are just theories, and if humanity ever became powerful enough to test them..... then at that point god might have been usurped.

wouldnt your hypothetical white hole behave somewhat like a star? in that they both release massive amounts of energy and/or mass.

  • @metalraider187 In theory, anything inside a white hole will be pushed outwards, and anything outside it's event horizon can't get it. It won't be a star per say because it pumps out ENORMOUS amounts of mass, energy and radiation compared to a star while the black hole in Universe X keeps feeding. And like it or not, black/white holes are 2 things man will NEVER understand, because the only way to enter a black hole or exit a white one is by being stretched into a thin line of atoms and quarks.

  • @TheKainMan gogo nanotechnology?

though that does make you think about interesting dynamics, maybe universe Y matter is anti matter in our universe X. It wouldnt be a bad explanation, especially because for matter to be radiated it needs to be converted into energy via some reaction. so dark holes feed matter into white holes which react with anti matter and release... energy?

  • @metalraider187 Nanotech doesn't exactly work that way :p. Even nanobots are made up of billions of atoms and molecules and unfortunately, you can't program a single atom or molecule, and that's what you're turned into beyond the event horizon. As for the energy part, maybe black holes store matter at their core and once they all consume each other, the single one remaining collapses on itself and spews it out as pure energy on the other side, everything disappears from here, a new big bang.

  • 07:55: Still inside our own galaxy!!! Unbelievable. Beyond human understanding. I need to stop thinking too much about this stuff or I'll go mad!

  • at 5 min isnt that different from the longer version here on youtube (the discovery channel one)?

  • From 6:50 to 7:09, DO NOT THINK about what he says! Unfortunately I did not listen to his advice not to think, and almost made my brain to meltdown. For this documentary there should be a warning!

"Watching this can cause your mental state to collapse, viewer discretion is advised!"

  • @pifko6 INCEPTION.

  • @pifko6 search for this theory on internet: we are a big computer stimulation. now thats what i call fucked up. this theory takes all beauty out of our subconscious mind viewing everything around us. Because of our anxiety problems our mind convinces to us everything isnt real after watching this. I highly warn that this theory is not for everyone to hear because its disturbing.... sounds funny... but you wont be laughing at the end. people can make their own conclusions after watching it.

  • @d6ud9e Matrix :)

  • @pifko6 Fucking hilarious lol i feel you though lol

  • @pifko6 Yo dawg, I heard you like universes.

  • @pifko6 for real?

  • so a dying star forms a supernova, and then becomes a black hole? is that how it is?

this documentary is awweesooommeeee, best everrrr!

  • Pillars of Creation is still in the Milky Way?

:) Is that the Ant Nebula at 9:34? :)

I think I read somewhere that in the middle of the Milky Way is a black hole?

  • @animaticToshiue That is indeed correct

  • You're doing a great job, keep posting videos like this!
