I've watched both of you're videos (Cherokee, and this one) and they're both just crazy good. You have a lot of old videos of you're playing but I want to see some current ones. 1:31 is a crazy lick btw. Love your stuff, you're one of my favorites on Youtube.

You messed up a couple notes on the head. You had a good solo, but if I were a Grammy Band audition judge with hundreds of submissions to listen to, I'd probably turn off the recording the second I heard those wrong notes. Also, I'd recommend watching your bends, it seems like you scoop too much.

@shepgthollywood i think you're wrong about the head. I've seen many submissions from players of a high level that are sloppier. this is actually the best sax player i've seen

@shepgthollywood yeah, what i meant is that i've seen a lot of submissions from obviously badass players that do have pretty sloppy heads, even played at slower tempos. i think a lot of people take the head kind of loose.

@shepgthollywood which is exactly why audition judges do not = jazz. I wonder how many talents are squelched early on for not playing by the rules.
