I thought Bachna Ae Haseeno was a disappointing film especially for Deepika, after Om Shanti Om I would expect her to do films that are worth her while and worthy of her beauty and ability, films where she is given a much more important and memorable role. I don't think any other newcomer in recent times has shown that much talent.

Are you also forgetting that in the most climactic scene in the entire film in Om Shanti Om where Deepika's character Shanti was murdered, the part where she is left in the burning set, it requires a lot of acting talent to make something like that look so real and as real as Deepika made it look, Anushka didn't have a scene to perform that was anywhere even near as dramatic and extreme to perform in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi as Deepika did in OSO. Anushka really shone and delivered such a confident and believable impressive performance. So it's worth it hun. Have fun watching the film=)
