Fuck man, where did my childhood go? This was certainly the best era of Cartoon Network, and I wasn't even old enough to appreciate how good we had it, until it was too late. Never again will we know the joy of hearing announcements for new episodes of our favorite shows on Fridays. Why the hell would they air new episodes on Mondays? It's so saddening...I need a moment by myself...

Nowadays TV channels are trying to hard to appeal to everyone.

Pretty soon Cartoon Network will be like TLC (remember what TLC was short for? THE LEARNING CHANNEL! Remember what Cartoon Network used to be called? CARTOON NETWORK, but NOW IT'S JUST CN!). Nowadays, TLC is more the "fat people with problems" channel! Pretty soon we'll be seeing crime dramas and infomercials on Cartoon Network! I'm glad that I was around to see Cartoon Network back in the 90s, before it went down the crapper.

But real life has decided to finally infect our cartoons, and the network now becomes another bland channel for anyone with money to burn and an illusion that they can entertain kids like the channel used to.

I hope kids today don't think realism is all that matters in cartoons.

At the time, Justice League another great cartoon show was being broadcast on cartoon network. Where did the good times go when we woke up every morning to see the PPG kick some ass, Dexter getting up to his hijinks in his lab, johnny bravo trying his luck with women and the eds planning get rich quick schemes. :(
