  • kool to see yo on youtube u have some of your books form melbourne australia

  • Lighting the sugar cube on fire I believe started with the czechs. Personally I don't do that. I prepare 2 - 3 parts water, sugar cube.. no fire heh. Absinthe is and has been a long favorite of mine. Unfortunately I can only enjoy it on my days off as I work third shift.

  • How do you make Absinthe? If anyone knows MESSAGE me thanks

  • Very nice video. I'm from New Orleans but live in Los Angeles. Cannot wait to come back to the culture, food and of course, kindred. Just bought one of your books Konstantinos and it is really wonderful!

  • As a native New Orleanian I enjoyed this video. The flambe' was a startling innovation.

I don't care for absinthe this way. But I do love a well-prepared Sazerac !

    Thanks for posting !!!

  • Lighting Kubler on fire :(

  • I love Absinthe but not with burnt sugar bleh but anyway cool video :)

  • I've never had Absinthe but I've heard it's good.

  • As with all things French, this method changed in New Orleans :)

  • NEVER light an absinthe : you'll destroy the aromas ! This lightning preparation method never existed in the french Belle Epoque.

  • @Heureverte Yes it's called the bohemian method, and everyone knows it sucks, even the guy in this videos (I've read his books, he doesn't care for the bohemian method himself) but he just did for the audience, no need to get all bent out of shape...
