I think this was a part of Peter's character that sort of went away after the first season...I don't want him to be mean but it'd be great to see them bring back the bad boy a bit :)
@newcomer9747 Olivia doesn't like to be called sweetheart I think she finds it condescending especially is a woman in male dominated police force. She is daring him to say it again as next time she will take great pleasure in doing something to him he doesn't like, for instance perhaps handcuffing him to his father.
@gillybabies ahhhh, that explains why he always call him walter instead of dad in the series. but this peter-nate seems to treat this walter more like a father than he would to walternate. tell me i'm right.
@gillybabies Yep. And at the during that episode, comparing him to Walternate, Peter says "You're my Dad" confirming this to Walter and us. Thank God! I do however feel for Walternate even though I am obviously on Walter's side. That's what makes this show so great! The only thing that makes Walter good and Walternate evil is circumstance. Season 4 tomorrow!
I remember seeing a commercial for this show before it even aired with this clip of Peter calling Olivia "sweetheart" and I instantly became a shipper right there. I knew they would eventually hookup. :)
@AlyssaGB89 What makes Peter Bishop appealing is not just his looks, but his wits and smarts as well Don't forget, he's go an IQ of what, 190 or somethin'. 30 pts above that of a genius.
@408thefourzeroeight To me it's the whole package. His looks and his intelligence. Joshua Jackson, though maybe not as intelligent as his character is just plain gorgeous.
@AlyssaGB89 Yes, not to mention Peter's charm & great sense of humor. I just love Peter's quips and witty comments, especially in response to funny and awkward Walter lines in supposed-to-be dramatic, serious scenes
ooo. its funny how they hated each other when they met, but then by like the middle of the 1st season its obvious that they both love each other. Love Fringe and Peter/Olivia
@LSFfangirl I don't know, I"m not so sure that Liv is the kinda of woman that likes to be called sweetheart by anyone except for her mother and her sister Rachel. She's okay with men who are close to her call her by "Liv", though I don't think Peter has ever called her by that.
@408thefourzeroeight yeah i think u're right but is int this episode is after the one that they allmost kissed?cuz i finde it ird that she bend so hard on hem

In the first season, Peter came off as a somewhat sleazy character. Then they just forgot about his past. I think he's less interesting now.

@gillybabies but he raised this Peter and everyone thinks it's the original Peter until Season 3 Episode 15 (57 episodes later)

@demboyswashuge correct, and Peter has now started to view him as his father that was until he disappeared at the end of season three.

Is it just me or is Peter hot when angry? Okay so he's hot all the time but man, it's like a drool fest when he's pissed!
