Wasn't gonna walk all the way back with that shit lol

  • rim to rim to rim is where it's at

  • needs more pics/vids

  • 3 to 5 hours to hike 3 miles ? hike down and up 14 miles total in 5.5 hours

  • "Like marriage, hiking the grand canyon should not be taking lightly".

    EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW what a horrible analogy.

  • I really want to go there!

  • "like marriage , a hike should not be taken lightly, or illadvisadely!"

Wish I knew that before i bought that dam ring!

  • Chuck Norris was here

  • its a 490 drop from the top to da bottom go ahead if u think your brave hehehe there is a black hole in the grand canyon which is 500 ft hehehehe

  • wow, once in my life i'd like to be there

  • Good job Karlyn.

  • GREAT VIDEO IM GOING THERE IN 2 WEEKS I WILL SPEND A NIGHT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GRAND CAYON AFTER HIKING THE PLATEU POINT TRAIL, A 12 HOURS HIKE!

  • NICE VIDEO I'M GOING TO THE GRAND CANYON NEXT WEEK MY FIRST TIME GOING THERE.

  • Grand Canyon video?

    *cue harmonica and guitar*

    LOL

    Beautiful vid though :)

  • Great video.I have hiked the Canyon many times. It is a wonderful experience.please look at my video

  • be sure to carry a good amount of magic mushrooms for all your halluciginatic needs through out the day hiking the trails, that's a necessity for all hikers walking the grand canyon trails:).......pemits? nah, think about it,Do you really THINK a park ranger is gonna search hundreds of miles in search of someone who's camping out for one night illegally?....i'd like to see them try.Unless it's a search n resuce, they're gonna fly around for miles looking for ya.

  • looks like having a great adventure with hiking in Grand Canyon!

  • Stay away from the horse trails unless you like poop.

Desert view to Grandview is the best. Did it twice it was so good.

  • What song is this? Exquisite.

  • is camera allow?

  • anyway if you do manage to fill it with cement I hope you settle for a nice grid road pattern, similar to the one you decorated the state of Missouri with

  • why isn't it filled with cement yet? is it too expensive?

  • 0:38 you need to correct preperation to preparation.

    Dumbass'

  • I still haven't been to the Grand canyon. That's kina embarrasing.

  • is it true that a meteor hit ther and made the grand canyon?? i heard that thats how it was made

  • no, the grand canyon was made by natural errosion from rivers over 6 million years

  • we went down the south kibab trail, it took us longer to get down then go up. because we were taking a ton of pictures on the way down.

  • Gyönyörű! Az idegenvezetőmnek köszönöm! Nem csoda, hogy beleszerettem...

  • Beautyful! Check also our Russians beautyful Nature. Best regards

  • I think is sad thats its necessary to make ppl take out a reservation just to walk across a landmark .

  • Actually, you don't need a reservation / permit to do a day hike in the Grand Canyon. You only need a permit or reservation if you plan to camp overnight in the canyon. I'd tell anyone who planed to visit to hike one of the trails, even if only a little way. The views change dramatically and the crowds thin out a lot even if you only hike half a mile or so down the trail!

  • I'll walk it someday

  • I think I took the exact same picture in the very beginning :D

    cool

  • Thanks for the information in this video!

  • Awesome video, thanks.

  • Good advice to know your limits. It's pretty easy to get overwhelmed. On my last hike I planned on getting started at 5 am when it is a lot cooler but got a late start. By the time I got back to the rim it was blistering hot and I was not well prepared.

  • Hi - Suddenly my schedule cleared up and I have couple days off but no time to do research. Can you please let me know if its possible to do South Rim>river>south rim in one day? If yes, whats the easiest trail to do so. I am in pretty good shape and have done some difficult hikes like Mt.Washington in New hampshire.

  • hey, it is posible to hike rim to river and back to rim again in 1 day. it is very hard and its not recomended. i would recomend the bright angel trail because it is not as steep. it is longer but thats what i would recomend. good luck!

  • hey - thanks... I took the South Kaibab going down and bright angel to come back up. it was just AMAZING!

  • well i would hope it accomodates males and females.....thanx for the video

  • i went to las vegas for a few days and i went to the grand canyon. unfortunately i ended up driving to almost south arizona then finally at a rest stop realized where i was. then in afew more hours went to the south rim, what a day.

  • my son and I went down the Kaibab and up the Bright angel in 6 hours 2008

  • OMG... Was it around august?!?

Because, I was there with my family, and we talked to a father and son who had done the whole canyon from kaibab > bright Angel, in 6 hrs!

That inspired me and MY dad, so next year were going to try that same hike.

  • Good video.

  • are there any trails you can take that dont take you near 1000 ft cliffs?

  • What would be the point of that?

  • This is very informative! Thanks for posting it.

  • Boring.

Hiking down is harder than hiking out!

  • hiked it in late august boy was it hot at 114 degrees at the bottom

  • don't do that dummy

  • it was freezing at the top when i went. south rim,

  • i LOVE the kaibab trail! beautyfull!

  • @clubpie58 oh yeah!!! the south kaibab has the best views!! We camped down at phantom range and then the next morning went up the bright angel. Man, it was wonderful. Snowing up at the rim and then summer heat at the phantom ranch. Will be doing it again but will be hiking down and hiking up same day.

  • i love the kaibab!

  • Cool. I won't go down without sufficient preperation (sic), or undertake anything ill-advisedely (sic). Proofreaders can be a valuable thing...

  • Yeah, luckily I was able to hike south kaibab/bright angel in March. It snowed on the rim on our last day!

  • Nice video. I just got back from doing a Rim to Rim to Rim hike... the greatest hike in North America! I hope no one attempts to hike in th Canyon in the summer. You have no conception how hot it is!

  • Aaaah.... they warn you alot but man, those pictures just make you want to go.

  • i hiked the bright angel trail to phantom ranch in june/july 05. it was AWESOME! and 126 degrees at the bottom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HIKE!!! difficult hike though, be ready.

  • lmfao when i went there this summer for vacation i went on the bright angel trail and passed out comeing back up i hit my head on a rock too :\ there right its really easy to go down but really hard to go back up trust me i would know :P

  • cool vid

  • Thanks for the instruction. I'm sure there are folks out there that will appreciate that.
