Yep, my girl is 3 days shy of 11 weeks & is a total spaz & kook. I crack up when she does the head turn at new things. Tonight was the funniest, as my husband let out a loud fart& Heidi not only cocked her head but made a weird grumbly growl. I think WGSD pups& kittens (of all sorts) were put on the planet for sheer comedic entertainment. How big is your boy now? Heidi's daddy is a moose WGSD, while her mama's 70 lbs of the typical Sable GSD. My vet says Heidi's gonna be big. Any new vids?

White ones are really german shepherd. dog (GSD) the reason ppl call them swiss shepherds is because you can show white GSD's there is an assosiation wich is trying to get them recognised as a different breed to show them etc. but genetically they are identical to the black and tan gsd's except they have a masking gene that masks the color of the coat. Nope, sorry, it's not an internationally recognised breed. There are still a lot of countries which refer to it as a 'blonde' version of its genetic 'brunette' equivelent the german shepherd - AKA White German Shepherd. There's a push in some countries to have it recognised as a seperate breed, but otherwise they're still a GSD that unfortunately is descriminated against because of its colour.

i love my 2 white shepherds i bought them from a former k9 cop who now breeds them well their both from the same litter brother and sister my big guy lycan is almost 110 lbs, pure muscle and our runt of the litter her name is takoda who just broke 55 lbs, she may be small but shes got a ton of spirit, and your right they do love to run i run with them every morning for a about 2 miles, their absolutly my best friends.

aww lol. i have a 6 month old WGS and he spent the past few weeks barking at a pumpkin on our back deck. they can be so wacky sometimes. i had to pick up the pumpkin and have him come over while i pet and coddled the pumpkin and then pet him to show him that "the pumpkin is our friend" - then he stopped barking at the pumpkin in exchange for rolling it around and cheweing it to pieces ;D

I would suggest looking at a white shepherd rescue organization online such as Echo Dogs (dot org), Coastal White German Shepherd Dog (coastalwgsdrr dot org) or plain old PetFinder (dot com).

There are tons of animals needing homes. I just adopted a WGSD/Husky mix that I found online. Search numerous rescue/shelter websites regularly and chances are you'll find several good candidates.
