OK...driving he's along when the gates start down, the driver tries to stop but loses tractioin and slides onto tracks, then cannot get traction to reverse. I'm going to guess that half of the people blasting this driver have never driven on ice.

@Subaruguy8508 I agree, sometimes, its difficult to tell where the track is under the snow, but anywhere between the gates might be a place to avoid..I've seen a lot of drivers panic stop when the gates start, but there is always time to complete the move if one is within the gates when the protection is activated. I worked for 37 years on trains, and I witnessed a lot of driver stupidity. Every so often, we hit them.. at least this video has a better outcome..
