this song kind of sounds like a guy that's on his last string with a girl so comes up with some BS to get her to stay around. I know we'd all like the song to be a positive song, but honestly which way sounds more accurate to how someone would really feel?
How is it that when you love someone with all your heart...they don't love you back..this song is very special to me he sang it to me and I just cried!
My wife died 4 years ago, I wanted to play this at her funeral, but I knew that I would have cried my heart out. I still love her and miss her to this day

I love this song. Wether it be Willie or Elvis,it's a beautiful song. It also reminds me of my ex-husband Randy and a night from 30 something years ago. We were out at Pizza Hut for the usual salad bar & pepperoni pizza. He played the Juke-Box & this song came on as he took my hand & said;"this song is my song to you,everytime you hear it,I want you to think about me." Well,here I am 30 something years later,thinking about ole' Randy & craving a pepperoni pizza!
