This is one of my favorite pieces of music ever written, and I don't even play FFXI.

He tuned those tabla drums perfectly, which is hard to do with MIDI equipment.

@illmatic28: If you approach FFXIV with high expectations, chances are that you'll be let down. We idealize these games like ex-girlfriends that we haven't seen in months. @john2earth I'm glad you appreciate the FFXI soundtracks as much as I do. What don't you like about XIV? I haven't played it but I'm in the same boat as you since I loved XI and I feel like XIV won't really compare. I doubt it'll have the same "magic" which I guess is one way of putting it.

@illmatic28 FFXIV sucks, what they need to do to recapture the "magic" of FFXI is to re-release FFXI its its original state. Bring back the old way of fishing and bring back most importantly of all MPK. When they took out mpk and brought in the despawn mobs don't aggro others shit the game went to hell. Yes mpk can be shitty but its benefits outweigh the negative's. People camping on top of you.. mpk them, RMT pissing you off? mpk them, bored back int he day gate guard selbina... etc.

Ok so a lot of playres have got used to this but...

It is one of the best FF tracks in the whole series. Atmospheric and and it changes a lot too.
