if you guys dont know the trick... they purposely set the play on the wrong side of the court and it throws off the opponent because the opponent is going to either forget that they are on the wrong side or the opponent is going to think "o ther dumbasses ther setting the play on the wrong side lets let them do it so they will shoot a basket for us" but no they do that shit so it brings the opponent on the wrong side of the court then they will fast break it when the opponent is off guard

He/she couldn't because of the stupid way TV broadcasts basketball games. They are showing a mascot on the sidelines when the ball is ready for play; what more can be shown?. For some reason TV directors/producers think you want to see a mascot instead of what's happening on the court.

What happened was, as they were in bounding the ball, the team set up an offensive on the opposite side, making the other team think they were going for that basket. They confused the defensive, because their basket was on the other end. hahaha love it.

Simple... The offensive team (the team throwing the ball in) all went to the wrong side of the court like they were going to try to make it into the opponents basket, and the other team just followed them, not thinking about which basket they were supposed to defend. So, the team throwing the ball in only had to get one guy to run towards the half court line (like in most throw ins), but when he got the ball, instead of running to the opponents basket like expected, he went to the right one...

Memphis were all lined up on the side of the court they had in the FIRST half of the game, and when the ref gave them the ball to throw in, one player broke out of the group and ran to the correct side of the court, received the pass, and scored on the CORRECT net.
