@nightriders92 I can't comment on the iPad 3 obviously because it's not out but I did have an original iPad and loved it. I know it's a cliche but when you talk about the iPad you can say 'It's just works'. The TFP doesn't always work but it has the potential to be something far more than an iPad.

@nightriders92 actually you can compare ipad 3 to a new one comming soon at June, Transfomer TF700, it is a prime with better HD quality 1920x1200.

Seems like most of the issues you've reviewed is from Android ICS itself not yet optimized for tablets quite yet. Hopefully Google will address this issues.

Launcher seems to be the issue. iPlayer has an app. Many fantastic book reader options available for Android. Could you set up your home screens with the stock launcher and see if you have the same issues?

@eyesparky The golauncher does seem to be the issue and I've since changed to another launcher (Nova) which seems to be working nicely. Basically go launcher can't handle the dock connection or rotation from landscape to portrait properly... After much searcher I found Cool Reader which is a brilliant epub reader. Videos on both at some point I reckon. Thanks for the comment :)

@vgjfelix That is interesting as I use Go Launcher on my phone currently. I think I will leave mine as stock for a while to see how I like it (hopefully it will be delivered later today ;)).

@DarkShadowSwe I holding the whole Android tablet ECO system responsible as well as the TFP itself. If you consider that this is a luxury tablet that costs twice as much as most netbooks, it's disappointing that it can't do something wholly reliably that a netbook can do. I can't review everything as a gadget enthusiast who is aware of the flash issues. Sometimes I have to treat it as a consumer who has little prior knowledge of the tablet flash issues and would expect it to simply work.

Yes of course flash should work. But just saying that nobody is complaining on the ipad for not having it at all.

Have you tried "double click" on the flash window and then go to full screen? Ut sucks big time if flash is not usable at all.

@pipari6666 To be fair it might be ADW that caused it. I'll have to try it.

The full screen flash thing works in some browser but not others. As I think I mentioned in the review, it's the ecosystem that the tablet lives in, it constantly requires a bit of tinkering here and there. I guess it's both Android's greatest strength and Achilles' heel. But I'll find out with more testing, reviews and videos :)

@pipari6666 It is usable. Don't get me wrong. But you have to make compromises and workarounds. For example, I mostly use Boat browser as my browser but I know that flash full screen isn't too reliable so I have to switch to the stock browser. It's just annoyances like that that just takes the shine off the internals and leaves it only on the externals of the device.

Strange that when people do a review and includes flash... They never mention that the pages with flash would look unfinished on an ipad. ;)

The problem you have when you undock your tablet... Tried another drawer like adw ex?

@pipari6666 In terms of Flash I'm not comparing it to the ipad. Having paid a premium price for the latest tablet I expect flash to work without issue (and so would the average consumer) and unfortunately it doesn't - yet. I'm using ADW launcher too. Thanks for commenting though.

How the hell did you get a prime? I pre ordered mine 2 jan. i hope the new batch work better.

@SLAMINGKICKS I ordered one from Carphone Warehouse on the 11th and picked it up on the 12th. I decided to take my chances hoping someone would get a batch in stock ignoring pre-orders and it worked. I was literally searching forums and shops for a whole month waiting for one to turn up. I got lucky (or unlucky if you consider the first batch faulty).

@TheRyaniscoolio I'll be doing a video soon of putting content on the prime. It's simply a case of dragging and dropping from a storage device and using a player that will cope with it. MX video player for example.Stay tuned and thanks for commenting :)
