MY other kind of "dream" AC is colonial North America, kind of like an earlier setting and better version of Red Dead series. Like one that doesn't suck. Here our assassin could be part Native and have use of lots of cool weaponry and use a lot of woodland stealth. What a revelation to the series to incorporate wilderness and fledgling cities in the same way they incorporated the huge cities of the holy land, Italy and the Ottoman Empire.

All the comments about Asian Assassins seem likely to be true for AC3 after Ezio and Altiar are done. yet, it's also true that Ubisoft tries to pick less likely but still historically rich time periods and places. If it has to be Asia why not the tumultuous Kingdom of Siam (modern Thailand) in the 1700's? Clashing warlords, slavery, and European powers invading (although Thailand was never officially conquered) and much more would all make for some good gaming!

@paulfalardeau1 Good point, but I would think that feudal japan would be a better choice, it has all the same problems as thailand but is more "romantacised" by the public. Ninja seems the perfect option.

@dunkAmania002 An AC set in feudal Japan would be epic. Most ninja games these days are just over the top action games. There isn't a ninja game with real, historic facts behind it. AC would lend itself so well to a ninja theme, like shurikens over throwing knives or a rope with a grappling hook for new traversal moves. I hope this Shao Jun character is a sign of that.
