  • i love at the end "I don't know how to stop it". beautiful song btw. my choir is singing it and it was stuck in my head.

  • Ive watched a lot of videos of choirs doing this and i have to say this is my faveorite. very very good :) . way better then my choir...ill admit it.

  • a lil fast for my taste but great performance no doubt. the ladies are killin the guys lol

  • this choir is beautiful. its inspiring ^^

  • This is the best I've heard it sound. Good Job!

  • The women who wrote this song lives in near me! She came to a concert that we sang it at; such a pretty song.

  • this was amazing! though they did drag horribly between "good wind" and "an angel" it's a tricky spot to get.

  • anyone know what choir sang this? it's amazing... but I think... I think I recognize some of the people... and the conductor.

  • Rancocas Valley Regional High School

  • no, breathtaking is 1:48!

    ah!

    i love this song

  • We're going to sing this in about an hour at our concert LOL. I absolutely love this song, it's so beautiful! I agree with everyone else- it's pretty fast, but it was still done well. :)

  • im a bass in my choir lol it was fun doing this song lol i was the only bass sad right were like the best ones

  • my choir is doing this now. im in 8th grade and i'm an alto 1. we're 6th-8th grade and we just learned it last week. hopefully, we can be as good as your choir!! (:

  • We sang this with the same speed so it seems to be right. Its pretty great!

  • you guys did a really nice job but i really think that you need to slow it down. This song is not meant to be a fast paced song. It's meants to move along at a slow tempo. It's a beautiful song and it shouldn't be that quick. It should move along gracefully and beautifully but nice job again though!

  • well..i they are going the speed that's written on the score lol =]

  • The tempo is actually near exact to how the composer created it.

When it's slow it tends to lose its passion a bit..

The articulation was incredible, I kept wondering what was so different than the version I saw professionally. Haha. Amazing job.

  • 2:55 Breath taking every time

  • I think there needs to be a lot more dynamics, especially in the beginning. My choir did this song too and it is really difficult to do, so good job!

  • My school choir has done this song. I felt like on this performance the, to agree with others, the tone is too bright and not mature enough. As a soprano I felt the sopranos were having issues blending and I think, ironically, the best part of the sopranos was the second high note when they did their "ahs".

  • a lot of choirs are singing this song wayy too fast. the tone is not mature when it has to be, especially for this song. there are a couple voices in the soprano section that stick out, but in a good way.

  • we r singing this at skool, im a soprano, and this is hard as hell to hit tat high note.

  • the girls sound bad.

but at least they got the high part!

    my choir is doing this.

and we can not get it!!

  • Really nice. I did this last year in the Chorale that I am in. The tone is a bit bright, but it is still well done. Good job!

  • im doing this in my chorus class...a kid in my class thinks the beginning piano part reminds hi of a scary old lady in a rocking chair!!

  • wow... these guys r really good! we're singing this song for large group choir festival and i really hope we're this good... we would get 1st fo sho!!!

  • best part was the last 20 seconds.

    LMAO

  • omg i deff did sing this last year.

    loved it so much

    sopranos all the way <3333333

  • they are singing it too fast

  • My choir is singing this. It's hard so far, but such a pretty song.

  • My choir is sing this too!

    It's our overall favorite song,

The numerous key changes are amazing!

  • oh wow so is my choir! (ALTOS RULE!) :D

  • CELINE?!

    It's Lindsey!

  • hahaha!!!

    hi Lindsey!! :D

  • OMG, Celine?! Lindsey?!What the hell?!

  • hahahahahahahahaha!!!!

oh wow! this is special :P

    lmfao!

  • LOL! Hey guys! It's Paris!!!

  • OMG! Creeper!

  • You Know it! Alto Power!

  • @butterbugs1234 They really do! ;D

  • the sopranos are louder because their singing the melody..duh

  • their vowels seem kind of strange and it's a bit too loud and yes, sopranos do overpower the others, but over all, awesome!

  • I sang this with my Choir! I LOVE it!

  • I love this piece. There are only a few things I don't like about the way it's sung. It should be softer and there are many dynamic changes that don't happen. But the changing from key to key is very smooth and beautiful.

The soprano's high notes are done perfectly. But the soprano's are louder than the rest of choir. Overall, a job well done.

  • imo way too bright

  • I love this song and they do a pretty good job but I don't like some of the vowels. I enjoy this when it's sung with a darker sound rather than the bright sound they have...

btw, this is not DialgaRules24, this is AllieElric

  • Ah. Wonderful!

  • hey i dont know the base line and i dont know if they can hit those notes with ease or not, and i am aware that the base line in this song is rather high high compared to other songs, just sometimes those notes are really low! its hard to get much sound out of something you can barely hit

  • I disagree. I find the Bass line in this song to be relatively easy. Most of it is in the low baritone range, perfect for me because my voice isn't too deep. Most of the song, aside from the ending, is in a very easy range, if anything, some of it is high.

  • AH COME ONE!!! basses you disappoint me there are three places where you are given the opportunity to shine and you held back, WHAT'S UP?! At 2:56 that chord on "angel" needs to be straight tone so it can set properly and the tone doesn't need to be soo bright... add some maturity and you'll have what it takes to really kick this piece out of the water!! Good job...

p.s. Remember what we talked about basses...

  • I MISS THIS SONG! ITS SO AWESOME!

  • lol my school just did this song i love it

  • hehe my school is doing this now

  • I listen to this often, its so beautiful. RVRHS is so fortunate to have such a talented and passionate Choir director, Peg Vanneman. Bravo!!

  • Its Deb Vanneman actually. Haha.

  • I can't believe I wrote Peg! Forgive me Deb!

  • I loved singing this as a sophomore! I thought I would listen to it for old time's sake!

  • this is beautiful, we're doing it at my school

  • this choir is kind of alto heavy

  • Ah my school is doing this. Ah its a gorgeous song I didnt like it at first. Now I love it. with the key changes ahhhh Im a tenor soo you know I loved it

    Great preformance

  • my school did this last and it rocked. we did it at teen arts and we were amazing. im a soprano 1 so it was fun. good luck to those who do this song and have fun

  • ha, we're gonna sing this at my school soon. im an alto. so far its difficult

  • in the beginning a tenor was flat on the A.... my choir did this and we were amazing... good job guys...

  • oh my gosh! this was one of my favorite songs that we performed this year! hehe look! you can see me at the end of the alto section, on the floor! =)

  • My chorus song it. The person who write the song, actually works at my school. :3

  • Sorry, wrote.... My grammar is suffering...

  • This song is absolutely beautiful! i love it, who composed it? You all did an outstanding job singing it as well. I really love the part "I pray it is a good wind" so pretty. Great Job

  • our chamber choir did it. it was perfect. and the vocalizing, one soprano did it. Just one. And she's got an amazing voice.

  • i loved this song we sang it and did so good those high nots on the tenor part OWE but i finaly hit them and at the concert so it was fun :P lOL

  • what are you talking about? tenor part only goes to a C. the bass part is higher...lol.

  • oh just kidding its an A my bad.....

  • Alisa Came to talk to our chior it was fun shes awesome she knows our director this is song is so beautiful our chior does a better job with our dynamics and the whole chior in this video seems to be flat a lot of the time good wind is is a little high to the actual notes in the piece but not bad i guess if your not GA!!!

  • HEY!

Those tenor notes are high as crap! Im going from tenor2 to tenor1 and I am having trouble with it.. haha

  • yea my friends who do this say that

  • alisa was at our school cuz our director knows her. it is kinda funny to watch her conduct because she gets so into it and is very enthusiastic.

  • This choir did a really nice job with this song! Alisa just came to my high school tonight and we performed this for her. It was great.

Now if only the tenors can get those ending high notes right...

  • You guys sound nice on here. Im a student of the Bel canto Choir at my school and we did this song for festival. The only thing I can say right now for you guys to improve on is your diction; Bring out more of your basses; and intonation on the last few measures. Otherwise you guys sounded good on a great song. Good job!

  • Never mind... I just heard it again. I could not hear the diction the first time. sorry about that...

  • RVRHS! Vanneman is GOD

  • my school did the same song. i love this song.

  • There's one soprano who isn't blending with the others, and as a whole the choir tends to be a bit more staccato than they ought to on many of the endings in this song.

However, overall a very good job. The pronunciation is excellent.

  • my school is doing the sammeeee sonnggg!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg wow.

  • my school's choir is also singing this song. and i love it. its such a beautiful song!

  • hahahha.....my school too......conincidence

    i think out

    <3 ya

  • eileen its me, anna, u stupid head. lol jp.<3 u.

  • anna i know its you. you idiot...why do you think i said something

  • good annunciation! kinda bright with your words tho.. the sound make the song sound funny and it looses its intensity everything else is good tho

  • is this a highschool choir?? if it is then which school? good job.

  • i love this song.

  • this is SUCH a gorgeous song.

  • oh wow that was good..Our choir is singing that too and lol the sopranos are having trouble with the "Ah" xD

GOOOOO SOPRANOS OF HYDE PARK!! =D GO CHOIR! XD

  • rose!

    its sopranos 2!

    i mean come on!

your one im one! YOU SIT NEXT TO ME IN CLASS!

and theres only 7 boys chiro!funny huh? lol!!

  • Haha same here we have alot more practicing 2 do!!

  • my choir here at hyde park in las vegas is doing this song...we were invited to the fesival of gold. ask you choir teach what that is...GO SAPRANO 2's!!

  • we are singing this song in chorus- im an alto- best song!

  • o.o im soprano 2...

  • my choir just started this song, I love this rendition of it, well done, I cant wait until we perform it!!!

  • My choir is singing this right now...everyone is obbsessed wit it lol :)

  • this song is probably my favorite both for listening and singing. im in my high school chorale..and we did this earlier this year. this group does it beautifully. my only objection is that they sound kind of young. also, i like this a little bit slower. i feel like they rushed through the whole song. the only other thing is dynamics. the end is better than the rest of the song..but i think they could have done more with them. but still B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!!

  • my choir is singing it to i am a tenor as well they did good i am singing along with it hope are choir dose almost as good as these people did were kinda lame to. BUT practice makes perfect

  • im a tenor in lcis so were singing it for concert i think uil so yea

  • tenors sound awesome..im doing this song too..ima tenor 1

  • Hey! HEY! More alto!

Good job, though... I doubt my school's choir will do half as good.

We're quite the lame bunch, here.

  • i love this song we sang it in our school but only had 10 days to learn it so it wasnt too good

  • This song is so beautiful, I'm Soprano 1 and it's just fascinating.

  • our choir sang this for our winter concert. I can play this piano accompaniment. It's quite beautiful. and i agree with stumper93. GO BASS (I'm a Bass 2).

  • my choir iz doin the exact same version of that song

  • Hello Alisa -- I am the director of this ensemble, and this was our first concert of the year in early October. Since then, we have performed the song a couple of times, and I've opted for a slower tempo for more clarity. My students and I have very much enjoyed spending time with "Angel Breathing Out" -- thank you!

  • What a surprise to have Dina Gregory, the lyricist of this piece, call my attention to this wonderful performance! Someone please tell me who and where you are, and what the "RV Artsfest" is. Beautifully performed, conducted, and accompanied, I should add! (Alisa Bair, composer)

  • that was amazing.. we did that song at our holiday concert.. GO TENORS!!!!

  • finally!! a fellow tenor!!

  • no go basses

  • what about sopranos 2s??

  • my shoir is doing this song this year.

its amazing the differences from director to director

for example, my choir is taking this much slower and we stress different parts.

    facinating

  • we are doing this in choir and it is a great song to sing...GO BASS!

  • um...hello? wat bout tenors? thats what i am and we do pretty good too!!

  • i'm doing that in choir right now go bass

  • Really great guys! I think singing it slower gives it a more angelic feel, but still really amazing!

  • i'm doing this song with my concert choir as well. it's really cool to hear it.

you guys have a really good soprano section. the high notes sound really beautiful. i just hope my section can do that as well as you guys can. :]

    this is a beautiful song.

  • Nice we are doin the same, I think I will put up ours later

  • wow!

    you guys are really good!c:

Don't listen to the neigative comments

those people are just dumb :)

  • ahh, concert choir. magnificent! we sound really good!! =]

  • heck yes!! haha!!

  • our choir is going to be doing this same song.....hopefully it will be as good as this choir sang it great job

  • I love this song.. there are three musical groups/classes at my school; two that you have to audition to get into and one that anyone can join. the first two sing by themselves and with the third group at concerts, and we are all singing this at our next one! I'm actually one of about six or seven people out of maybe 30 who are going to be able to sing the high "ahhhh"s =D

  • have to work on the vowel sounds a bit. make them sound like they are from britain. i prefer the song at a slower tempo, like my concert choir is singing it, but thats the conductor's decision. nice voices though =)

  • this was a great song. i plan on going out for this concert choir. Im in mens choir right now...I go to this school...Great job guys!

  • i love this song!!!

  • you guys did really great!!!...this is the exact song that i am learning know for my concert choir

  • omg whoever you are that uploaded this video, NEVER DELETE IT. i was here that night and this song blew me away.
