You didn't fly in formation very well because that C130 pilot flew erratically. A lot of formation flying depends on the pilot you are forming up with too, and he was all over the place making super sharp turns etc almost having no respect for you. Good try though, your engines are way faster than his as well.
Well I can overclock this easy. Head to Mobo BIOS, notch up the number and reboot. Thing is I won't bother doing it until warranty has gone for it. £800 lost to overclocking something I don't really need to overclock yet.
I just went into the computer shop, told them £2000 and they gave me the latest CPU and gfx card at the time. A good Mobo and PSU.
I was lucky to know the manager of the shop, otherwise the system would have cost closer to £2500.
The 965 is made for diehard overclockers, it has unlocked multiplier. Too bad you won't use that :( Ofcourse it's a nice cpu but it's the same as 920 and 940, except the clockspeed. But when you do not want to overclock it is the fastest cpu indeed.
I will overclock it eventually, I don't have that much experience with it. I don't want to go overclocking and suddenly melt it or something haha. I may decide to go into BIOS and rise it up a little bit and monitor the temp. There's an LED screen on my mobo for CPU temp, as well as a temp guage which I can see through the case (a line of green, yellow and red lights which light up accordingly). I guess its just small steps at at time, checking temp while playing. If all seems good keep going.

Yes there is a bugs, but its a new game so its to be expected. I've crashed 1 or 2 times but it's kinda my fault trying to crank the settings up way too high for what my graphics card is capable off.
lol recommended system requirements said 8800gt and hd 4850 and in one test before release 8800gtx they played at 24 inch res and said wow lovely ohh nice faster than arma 1 i say bullshit i have an i7 3gb ram and a gtx 260 216 im just trying to play this with modest high settings and it works but try to fly and LAG...its a massive failure and will put people off ARMA1 still rocks though. overall ARMA2 can look beautiful one second and Horror next with your hands glowing lol God mode i guess

The control surfaces don't get "turned off" because you switch to hover mode, that's how it is in ArmA2 and in real life.
And the F35B is controlled by the engine in the back rotating, not a shitload of thrusters all around it that's how the Harrier does it.

I said it was CONTROLLED by the engine in the back, it rotates on the pitch and roll axis.
I'm pretty sure the turbo-fan does not rotate in any way it is just there to keep the plane up.

Keyboard mainly. Mouse for precise looking around with the free cam.
Using a Mouse or joystick to fly is possible if you wish to do so.
Flyings quite easy once you get the hang of it. It's a different story when you're getting shot at though :P
