You don't know how to put together the words "alternative" and "rock"? I almost called it hard rock but that does a disservice to bands like GnR that are way harder. This is more on par with stuff like godsmack.

@geraldrichett88 rEVOLVEr is one of my favorite Metal albums, beside Reign in Blood. but to be honest, I'm not that into the genre.

@geraldrichett88 I thought made me do it was their worst. I have all of their albums except this one, I like it. MADE ME DO it was so boring from a musical perspective, the drums killed it, just back and forth thrash beats throughout the whole album. Its my least favorite album by far.

@jeremebonesaw But you don't have to listen to it all in one sitting. There are some great songs on that one that you are missing. But I agree it is a dull album as a whole. Too much of the same thing over and over.

@grueler Are you fucking kidding me? Marco Aro was far superior than dolving in The Haunted or in anything. Marco's lyrics are badass and make sense. Made Me Do It is a master piece, One Kill Wonder was just brutal and heavy as fuck revolver was alright, dead eye had like 2 or 3 listenable songs and from there just went to shit. Fuck dolving and his whinny ass voice and his gay wannabe artsy lyrics that don't make sense. I personally blame him for the haunted's change of direction.

Grow up already. Marco Aro was just like EVERY other thrash vocalist out there, Peter is much more unique and has so much more range then Marco ever had.

Let's just face it. The Haunted will NEVER make another Versus, In Flames will NEVER make another Clay Man, Soilwork will NEVER make another Predator's Portrait. You know why? Because people change. Artists have no obligation towards their fans, and harping on them for releasing something that you personally don't like won't change that. Get the fuck over it, you can still listen to the old stuff and masturbate. I do occasionally.

As much as The Haunted's older albums were fantastic, this is just as great. Im an all around metal head, I listen to any kind of metal out there, and THIS is a masterpeice. Go drown in your pool of Metal elitism.

@GutsandGlory45 not being elitist AT ALL, i just know BAD vs GOOD music when i hear it, im usually coming from the same angle you are hating on the "this band isnt underground enough for me" crowd, but this album offers, to quote these guys, "No Compromise". i cant hang......my personal taste should not be enough for you to attack and lable me an elitist though, rather "holier than thou" or maybe even "elitist" of you dontcha think? peace preacher man.
