  • thanks for that information Neil. really useful info. I have luckily been applying these techniques for a couple of Years now. But here is a little snippet for you. Last week I was contacted by google, personally by telephone from the Irish office to confirm the local listing of one of my sites. I tried to engage in a conversation and person would only confirm that they had instructions to verify any local listings they were not 100% sure about as being genuine!! Be warned spam and SEO cheats

  • and theres me thinking you were from Cornwall

  • I definitely agree with the crowd out statement. Radar Roy, Howie Schwartz and I were talking about how this goes back to Universal Search and now even more aggresive strategies at Howie's latest MasterMind in December.

Basically Google is making it harder for us to get organic listings so we are more apt to advertise to get traction from Google listings.

  • Neil, been following you for 7 years, great to see you here on YouTube. Bit of a YouTube know it all myself, great decision to move your video marketing here. Can't wait for more.....

  • Excellent, Neil! I like the fast video format for our tired eyes! I like your white board format - I can pause the video and re-read something I want to check out further, see spelling, or reinforce - multiple formats for retention!

This should ignite a fire under each of us to focus on branding, slogans, and massive action FAST to be seen by Google as "the" authority for our terms! SEO's not dead; it's just matured and gotten a whole lot tougher.

  • Great Neil ; Better according to the mass as a means of information, rather than reading. The pace seemed about right to me. The only thing I would not do, is make it all white board information, only where it is absolutely required. Think of it as a great documentary and how much more interesting it could be, with a lot more different and interesting shots for the viewer.

  • Super Neil

I know Videos take much longer and I know for myself that it does take a lot more resources in time -

    but

I must admit I am probably like a lot of people and I like to watch videos rather than read , especially when I am learning

Great iinformation on the algo changes - I personally have never relied much on SEO , although have spent a small fortune on it, but I tend to prefer paid traffic generally , even when it comes to video

    Have a great evening

    Hamant
