Joe Biden is more articulate than McCain when it comes to making his point across in response to Fred Thompson's irrational and insidious comments on the war in Iraq. Also, Fred Thompson has made a lot of inaccuracies when it comes to keeping us informed in the situation in Iraq. Fred's shameful conduct is another one of his problem aside from his own inconsistent and contradictory statements.

The actual dynamics of Rumsfeld demise was brough about by resistance he didn't think will happen, so when his decision for few troops turned to disaster, he couldn't acknowledge a bad decision, so he tried to compensate it by taking short cuts, meaning mass torture of Iraqis to gather intelligence, this obviously backfired as Al-qaida found a recruitment heaven, remember that Saddam will have hanged any Alqaida..but many Americans were hidden of this fact by the administration..

Biden's got it nailed - Thompson is "divorced from reality". Even Biden's short statement about Thompson needing to go to Iraq with him painted a more realistic picture of what's really going on there. I'm impressed - good for Biden!
