  • does your plane come out of a bank by itself, or do you have to manually center it? Mine doesnt level out when i release the bank. The same thing happens in a pitch. When I pitch up from level flight and release the yoke to its center, the aircraft starts pitching down...any ideas?

  • @iammdeepak1 Hi.. No the plane wont right itself you must bring it back to centre and horizontal ...

  • @iammdeepak1 Sorry also check your trims aswell

  • Amazing! I might look to do something like that myself, I still dont know weather to get a yoke or joystick since I like flying heli's sometimes too.

  • Excellent work.

  • Hey with the gauges do you keep them positioned behind LCD on startup or do you position them every time?

  • @Dominoes282 I position them each time ... It has a cfg file so all i have to do i drag it over and maximise and away i go :)

  • Nice! Simulator's looking great!!!

  • Hi, I'd like to know where you got the freeware gauges set. You said they are "JK" or Jekko" or something. Sorry, i couldn't hear what you said. I build custom panels for FS and am always hunting for new software gauges to beef up the collection.

  • are the gauges a screen? with a template over it?

  • @Asylumtv1ful Yeah i have a 15" lcd monitor behind the dash board .. I just cut out the holes for the gauges ..Cheers :)

  • @Asylumtv1ful Not completely sure as i have been adding to it for awhile now ..So it wasnt a huge lay out to start with ...

  • wich tums are you using on the gauges screen ?

  • @FromOscarost Sorry mate not sure what you mean ?

  • does the software u used for the gauges work with the PFD's etc... of bigger aircraft? like the defult 737?

nice video and great work, good luck with the rest!

  • Hey Mr Taggz, thats a most impressive for an affordable solution sim. I am building very much the same cockpit design with saitek gear and I have 3 x 23" widesrceen monitors linked up to a matrox triple head to go card. Do you have a design plan for the cockpit as I am having trouble finding a a starting point for the intial dash and cockipit? Your projector also looks awesome. is there any trips to setting up one of those. Again, great job and thanks for posting the video's. Cheers. Mark.

  • @Thiswayup01 Thanks :) ... I really just made it on the fly i didint go by any plans

i just built it so it felt about the right size. But i will gladly measure it up for you and post it back here ... I am so glad you like it ! Thank you :)

  • cool!!! how do you make them.i so want one

  • @holdenrock1 Start out small and build on it ... Just dont try to do to much to start with... Lemme know if i can help :)

    Thanks for your comment :)

  • Yes if you could e-mail me the software, that would be incredible and you would really save me alot of time, money and research! ill send you my e-mail address in a private chat! thanks again man, cheers!

  • Thanks sooo much for replying. Ill check that out. But as for the fuselage, go on my youtube chanell and i made a video of pictures from when i picked it up to the most recent picture of it today. Leave a comment and let me know what you think! thanks again.

  • Hey, Very nice video. Im making a simulator out of an old Beech sundowner fuselage and right now, I am struggling for a gauge display solution. Can you tell me were i can find the software for the gauges you have there. It would be alot of help. Thank you.

  • @drmrboy29 I got the software from a open source web site . But it seems that all the links to the software have all dried up .I am happy to email you the software it is open source "Jayco Simulation" is the creator... Man i would love to have a proper fuselage please upload some pictures :)

  • nice, i'm thinking of a similar setup but i dumped the saitek panels, theyr really bad quality.

  • @TNG128MB

Cant wait to see your setup ... The only thing i can pick about these panels is the Radio Panel trying to select the numbers can be tricky other than that they forfill my virtual plane needs heheheh :)

  • @MrTaggz i cant wait either but i havent devided what to build and

how many monitors im going to use

  • @Ipodman1997

Just the one pc so far i use both video outputs from the video card to run the projector and the jayco guages. All the panels and controls are all USB.The frame is made from left over ply wood and Corflute sheet (Plastic sign material) Cost Hmm i just love building it so i havent really kept a record :)

  • Thank you :) I will more than likely look into GoFlight when i have more of an idea on building a full on sim ..

  • @MrTaggz for sure man, Saitek is nice dont get me wrong but just for a few pennies more you can get the real deal. GoFlight is awesome. It's high dollar but it represents the real aircraft in a great way. Modules.

  • Nice work man. If I may say so myself I would have spent the same money and got GoFlight components. It's really easy to wire in your own toggle switches too. The HDG, CRS, CAGE and altimeter knobs are easy too. You only need 0.3 inches of space for a peizo trigger.

  • What gauges are those?

  • You have also very nice home cockpit!

Feel free to share ideas and questions if needed.

    OP
