I think the idea here is that with his brother being diagnosed with a pre-existing condition prior, and all the sudden this new 'clean bill of health' well...that tends to raise suspicion no?

Europeans have invented (in the last 100 years give or take), the mercury thermometer, made advancements in combustion engine technologies [yes I know not 100% good but still], x-rays, and co-invented electron microscopes etc... That good enough?
