I just bought an astra, after seeing this video and being told this winter is going to be even worse especially in scotland and Northern Ireland i am beginning to think i may have made a mistake :( Shuda got a V70
@jackd166 Not really, I own a Vauxhall Vectra which uses the same engine from the 1.6 Astra, I think. It works great with the front wheel drive. If it dosen't work, it's too dangerous... I've never had an issue in the past few winters in Glasgow... ;-)

@pulsarphil Belive me alot of people here are used to driving in the snow. This guy/girl just didnt have a clue.
Also you will come to SCOTLAND, we dont put you all in the same boat as Canada.
