YOU can't have them as pets because of regardless or not even if you domesticate them, they're still meant to be a wild animal. Just as the dog/cat should be, but we somehow managed to break their wild side into more of a friendly side but you forget dogs and cats have had just as much as injuries as you are likely to think. And you can have racoons get a wild permit, and talk to an organization.
I Think That Was Spongebob In The Background..... And Raccoons Have Been One Of My Favourtite Animals For A Very Long Time Now And I Really Think That They Are So Cute And Adorable..... Cutest Piece Of Mother Nature Ever.

You can if you live in the country a bit. My mom had one. We have a wild one we feed catfood to. :-)
