@ktockly not true at all as the FG42 had such a small box mag along with its high rate of fire allowed it to only fire for 2-3 second full auto if that causing a great need for bayonets
@queensofbattle good question...i think we can assume that NO prop bayonets were made for the prop FG42 as the outer securing ring on the prop is too thick for the end of bayonet..the plastic ring could be thinned out a bit..but then it may not be able to take the bayonets weight!!!.
@fallschirmjager0000 originally advertised in the 1980s in either the UK dealers "Regimentals" or "Alan Beadle"...it cost £175 THEN.....i got it for £200 in December 2009.
