  • Coolest damn wedding band ever. I've they came to my town every year I'd see 'em

  • Did Rick flick us off @ :12?

  • great

  • great song

  • godz why did they lip sync????

  • @TruthSurge It's called a Promo performance and it was very important for it to feature the product for sale, which was the recording of the song. It was used to promote the latest single on TV shows. Every band did them as it would be specified in the contract. The Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, U2 and Green Day has all done lip sync'ed promo performances.

  • robin and donna mills are rockin' the same 80's hair! AWESOME..

  • Robin has been going bald since 1982

  • @deeperwaterz Bald? He's got long hair? You mean Rick?

  • @deeperwaterz Robin is 56 and still has a full head of luscious, blond hair thank you very much

  • This video is shocking, not for the lyrics but, for THE suit, lol! Cool song.

  • The screen says this is from "Laugh Trax" in 1982. Wasn't that a syndicated comedy TV show? I recall watching the show back then on Friday nights on a local independent TV station. I really enjoyed it. Was quite funny at times. They had a regular character named "Billy Rock", who was a satire on Billy Graham...even spoke with the same accent. One of the regulars was Howie Mandel...but he doesn't even mention the show in his new autobiography. THANKS for posting this! :)

  • Shes nice, she tight, shes a talented girl, shes got her head down tight.

Those lyrics will stay with me for life what a show

  • God, I wish I had been able to see them in San Antonio last Friday. This band is one of my all time favorites. I LOVE THIS SONG! Hopefully they will make it to Austin soon.

  • wow they sound almost exactly the same as the original recording

  • that's because it's lip synched

  • It was this very song that got me hooked to CHEAP TRICK

  • God i love this song, never forget when i finally heard it live, i screamed like a 15 yr old at a Jonas bros concert *snort*.

  • Good Lord Robin! WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • HAHAHAHA! Yes, I just asked that same question.

  • I love that suit!! I asked my mom if I could go to see them,( I was 15) and I showed her a picture with Robin in one of his suits. She said yes. I asked her 2 years later if I could go to Van Halen, a picture of David Lee Roth chained to a fence barechested. She said no. Ooooh, if she only knew how much more raunchy Cheap Trick's music was compared to Van Halen's I'd have never been allowed to see them! LOL

  • This is most definitly an open road driving song!!

  • One of my all time favorites

  • Awesome tune. Great song from the Jon Brant years.

  • my mom used to get mad at me 4 listening to this song... maybe it was because i was 3... well anyway 10 years later i still listen to this song even if im not supposed to.. i love u robin!

  • hahahahahaha

  • I remember the exact night this was on tv back in 1982. I was wearing my pink jammies with blue sheep on them. I did the hula hoop for 2 hours afterwards.

  • I've never liked this song but I love this album. Cool to see a "live" performance from that time.

  • At Rye Playland Rick had a bunch of his family in the audience. He introduced everyone to the crowd, then said, "now we're gonna do this nice family oriented song...." I was laughing my ass off!

One of the greatest rock bands hands down.

  • Brilliant As Usual..

  • Classic Years of Cheap Trick. And still going strong today !!!!!!!

  • #66

    lol

    LOL

    lol

  • This is one of the best Cheap Trick songs ever.
