@floflwaffle Don't be so doom and gloom. McNabb was great but he was not going to play for us forever. I would guess he has about two more years to play in the NFL before he has an injury big enough to cause his retirement. Remember McNabb is getting abit old too. Also remember that McNabbs first year as our starter the Eagles went 5-11. Give Kolb a chance.

@floflwaffle Last year vs the Saints (the now Superbowl Champs) Kolb threw for 391 yards. It is true the Eagles lost that day. But the 391 yards that Klob threw that day was the best NFL start for any Eagles QB in the history of the franchise. I am very anxious to see what this guy can do with more experience.
@floflwaffle McNabb has show signs of decline and Kolb has should signs that he can be a successful QB in the league. If they held on to McNabb, then they would have lost Kolb. Why hold on to a QB who's best days are behind him when you have a QB who's best days are in front of him who is going to leave if he can't start?
