yes, but he looks like a girl, sounds like a girl and acts like a girl. he is physically very female. all the signs are that he was once female. although i could be wrong, i've not seen anything to convince me otherwise. someone even mention that his biography stated his gender as female, but was quickly changed.

unless you have something more substatantial to show that he was born male then i still think he was born female.
