Because he's using a vortex engine to propel the BB's. It goes through them in a heartbeat [For example, my strafer has an ROF of approx. 5000RPM], and .12's are cheaper than .20's. With an ROF like that, accuracy doesn't matter much anyways, just aim the stream. ;]

Nah, like I said, it uses a vortex engine. Much different from an AEG, conventional gas, or even spring powered gun. With my vortex strafer I actually just pick up used BB's from my other guns and load them into the hopper so I don't waste as much. Of course I'd never do that with a regular airsoft gun, but vortex engines are pretty impossible to jam.
