There's a football game in Japan (I forget the name) that could be easily described as Dragon Ball Z meets football. It masquerades as normal football but all the players name their shots\saves etc, the most useful of which usually come with a little animated cut scene of them doing something over the top.

Anyway someone took the concept of THAT game and added in the characters from another game entirely, one that has nothing to do with football. Why? Why do any kind of cross over ever?

Not quite an anime. The girls come from a shooter series called Touhou, and they all have super powers (as you can clearly see). Someone figured to take those girls, powers included, and make them play football. It's just as crazy as it sounds, but it's also awesome. There's a fan-made Touhou anime (look it up on Youtube), but there's only one episode right now.

To GloriousOtaku: only we in the U.S. call it soccer. The rest of the world says "Football" (this), and "American Football."

Is this even Soccer?More like Cuju,a kind of Soccer as long as you kick the ball into the goalpost by any means with the legs even if it means hitting the opponent,you score 1 point.I thought the way to play Soccer in Touhou Soccer is like any other Soccer games,but I haven't really play it yet.Looks complicated to play with.
