  • So unique and colorful. i love the concept. Such a beautiful deamer. Brilliant piece!

  • I like it.....

  • Absolutely stunning. I'm dying for a how to video, but I understand the need for secrecy :) keep it up! Hopefully, I'll be able to purchase one soon.

  • Liquitex pouring medium and fluid medium mixed with arylic paint and water. Let the paint flow. :) :) At least that's what I use to get a very similar effect. ;)

  • i loooove these.. i wanna try pour painting so bad

  • Great work!!

  • Loads of PVA Glue? Metallic sprays :) really excellent.

  • Ddavinart, Is your product totally finished front back and sides?. Peeps with extra money buy art and don't settle for less. Are your prices consistant EVERYWHERE? The art world is small if you sell for a lower price elsewhere the client will find out, feel cheated and business will fall off. Do you know the dollar value of your work? Not just going in a gallery and sizing up others paintings and telling the director that's my price in this city. This is what galleries are looking for.

  • @artguide

yes, yes, maybe, always, probably, sometimes, no, ok, what?

  • wow, this is pure inspiration. Thank you for posting!

  • and possibly use oil and acrylic andf add extra oil and water at different spots? :)

  • do you put the some of the paint on a sheet or sheets of plastic and "scrunch" it around?.. not all of the paintings just a lot of them.. or put the paint on the canvas and move plastic around on top of it?

  • im guessing you put down a base layer of paint let it dry then put on alot more colors with alot of watter to get the twirl mixed space kind of effect then spray alchohal on it?

  • @dOnOne512 not even close! haha. but good guess. i tried alcohol but it didn't work very good. and i don't use a lot of water.

ok, enough for now. I'm getting back into my other style of abstracts so maybe one day i'll post a how to vid.

  • @ddaviniArt gahhh perhaps one day ill figure it out aswell

if u did post a video of how u do it you would make alot of people happy

  • As an abstract artist I also mess with pouring as a means of application. Sometimes it can be hell, sometimes great.

The best part of these pour pieces that cant be seen on video is the texture created from the thick application of paint. GREAT!

  • Greta work!

  • I so enjoy your work...I aspire to be half as good someday!

  • The one at 3:26 was my favorite one =)

    Great painting !!

  • please dont tell me you sell your stuff on ebay. These should be in galleries!

  • well, what can i say:> galleries are not interested in my work and i'm tired of trying to get their attention.

but thanks, i appreciate the comment.

  • brilliant

  • what kind of paint do you use? I hear ya about technique...it takes a lifetime and then some!

  • great work! excellent!

  • Hi, yeah u have realy wonderful paintings.

How long take it when it´s dry, because i thing there is many color on the canvas.

  • Thanks. It takes 2 - 3 days for each layer to dry & they can sometimes have up to 10 layers.

  • Really cool paintings! Love the "formless form" you express. Going to check out your website to see what you have to say about your techniques.

  • i don't say much about my techniques. it took too many years to develope, and tons of wasted time & paint.

    Thanks

  • wasted paint? i can't believe galleries aren't interested in these! as far as abstract goes, in my opinion, these are the best kind. i wish you would share about your techniques, id love to learn from you but i guess ill have to figure it out on my own. this is exactly the kind of abstract i strive to be great at-like you are.

  • Hi. Thanks for the kind comments. Maybe it's because of the size, they are smaller paintings. Usually 4x12 and 6x12 inches.

The wasted paint is from pouring it from the canvas into the trash if it didn't do what i was hoping for. not much can be done with it if the results are not what i wanted other than to dump most of it and start over. :)

  • @ddaviniArt "i don't say much about my techniques..."

    *twists arm behind back*

    Talk!

  • @ayayayify

Put some paint into a small/big container with a lid and add water so you will end up with a consistency of "creamy pouring liquid" Make sure you shake it so you wont have any "UN-mixed" paint. If you want your paint to move faster on the canvas, you have to make it more "watery" if you want the paint to move slower, you have to make a thicker mix. Pick your colors and make sure they complement each other. It's time to start pouring.Shake the canvas, move it in different directions.

  • @ayayayify Your colors will start mixing with each other. If you think you made a mistake, let it dry and since you are using acrylics you can come back to it later and add a new layer of paint, or a different color. It's up to you to come up with different colors and effects. You know what they say: 10 layers of paint is better than 5! :))

  • @meinhoonnasrk thanks for the advice! i am definitely going to try this out soon. it may take a while to get to a point where it is more than just paint soup but it should be fun! i love the ones in this video. do you make some like these?

  • love your work

  • 3:20 it almost looks like some kind of crystallized acid that ate away at the paint. Really great. Love your stuff. Very inspiring.

  • AJAX?

  • haha nope

  • Thanks, glad you like them.

  • lol

  • Modernism is dying on the vine. I feel bad for anybody who spent millions on a Pollock or a Miro or any of that crap. I used to worship at the altar of modern painting but have seen the light. I'm not kicking dirt on your paintings. To call them abstract is to cheapen them, though, I think. I see a lot of form in them. Almost as if you're painting from the fifth dimension at the bottom of the ocean. A nice change of pace. Best of luck.

  • Neat thoughts. Thanks.

I have to think about that abstract thing. Interesting.

  • love your paintings!!

  • Thanks. and thanks for subscribing!

  • Thanks!

  • wow! This art is amazing! I really love it!
