People keep comparing thie lighting to these trucks including the syclone, fact is these trucks are faster, i mean look at all the videos vs a lightning and i havnet seen one where the ford takes it, because it cant. I would like to see one race an srt10 ram it wuld be interesting, my money would be on the gmc of course ;)

GM was forced by the EPA to quickly meet new air quality standards. This is why the paint fell off in sheets, it took a while to perfect the new formula. :(

P.A.S Was planning the 2nd Generation syclone. It was going to have the same drive train, and it was heard it was going to have a targa top. But GM didnt renew their contract, so i didnt happen.

My Typhoon need to be repainted kinda bad.. He's chippin.. I guess GM was using cheap paint er something in the years around 92? So ive heard any way.. Awesum vid. Gotta luv phoonz.. XD

Yeah my step dad has a 91 chevy 1500 and he says they used a bad primer in those years. I think they also used a thin coat of paint and clear coat.

they did. i had a 92 cheyenne, and every time i took it to the car wash, i lost paint in large chips. then the rust set in pretty quickly. the clear coat was completely gone off the hood and doors by then.

He got kicked out after that run for not meeting safety regulations AKA being to fast for no Roll cage. Lightning R/T .943 60' 1.961 1/8 8.392 MPH 86.23 Typhoon R/T 1.054 60' 1.775 1/8 7.329 MPH 97.09 That was our first run on 15 lbs of boost.

He's good. We go the white on white Ty running again after one year but Adam now has 3 Ty's one white on grey & one black on black. We are planing on taking this white on white to the track 25 PSI this time.
