@OCAdelautour :we went with 7/64" amsteel blue. I think we got it from seattle marine online. Its two years old and not a fray on the rope. 600 foot spool and cheaper than bulletlines. good luck!
spool is from an aluminum street sign, probably 1/8 in thick. then on the spool is (6) 5/8" threaded rod with PVC covers so it doesnt mess up the rope. cvt (12 tooth tav for # 35 chain, sprocket is 60 tooth) and sprockets and what not were from an online go kart supply store. engine, harbor freight 6.5 HP really cheap.. i hate to say it but we went really cheap on it minus the frame. the frame is HEAVY duty. but so far it hassnt broken down yet, or any problems! knock on wood!
What line did you use? Im looking for something for my winch.

where do u get the supplys to build the front end? spool, cvt, sprockets, axel, ect..
