$4,000,000,000 is spent every year on marijuana arrest alone. It is not illegal because it harms you, the government gets more funding for marijuana arrest then any other crimes. The Narcotics agency are funded for this and then reap the benefits, when raiding people, taking their property and selling it. this is happening to medical patients, because federal law passed the "no tolerance act" and declared drugs a crime, and marijuana is on the top of their list.
