Because of the very addictive nature of nicotine, you just can’t trust anyone who say they are gonna quit instantly that they won’t go back to the habit after a few tobacco-free days. Chris is a very tough guy, but even so you can’t trust that he’ll ever chew again after going for at least a full month free of tobacco. Quitting nicotine cold turkey is like torture to the mind for the first couple of weeks, coz your brain will keep craving for more.

Alex, who's rather like Stan Laurel in physiognomy and manner, was refreshingly and surprisingly honest here. It's the sure sign of a weak player when they try to recruit before the boardroom. Stephanie looks gone, as long as Chris doesn't lose the plot.

Alex is so naive. He shouldn't be honest all the time. He could've told her he'll be on her side but play the 'every man for himself' game if it comes to that. I think Alex is very smart and professional. He would make a great employee for huge companies but not a big company owner. He lacks the edge.....
