Yep, them 97-98 Lakers was one of the Greatest squads ever assembled!! Big Shaq, Kobe, Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, and oh yeah, Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Robert Horry, etc.....That track works perfect for the clip too!
shaq fucking diesel...yall c that fas break where he spinned and dunk the shi outta the ball.. or hen he dunked on that nuggetts players who ate his cock and pushed him to the floor.
david stern greedy ass would fine him or suspend him ifhe did that now lololololol
The Lake Show + Shaq and Kobe was an awesome sight to behold.
In an NBA still dominated by MJ, they were the hope of the next generation.
They were exciting to watch, but too young to win it all....just crazy talented. It's too bad that the jump to the threepeat couldn't include Nick and Eddie. And in the end the Lake Show was just a bridge to greatness, connecting Showtime to the Shaq-Kobe dynasty.
WOW this was the Lakers Golden Era I remembering rushing home everyday to watch the games on KCAL 9 and getting to hear the Legend Chick Herns announce the games. Man this clip brings back memories. Great clip man
The 2000 Blazers were more talented than this squad and we all know that. Scottie Pippen, Detlef Schrempf, Shawn Kemp, Steve Smith and Greg Anthony were 90's heroes. Rasheed Wallace and jermaine O'neal, two rising stars, Brian Grant Defence Specialist. They could have won the title in 2000 but the Lakers made a good run in the last 8 minutes of the game with Kobe & Shaq and with the help of the referees. Paid referees, I might add. Yeah paid referees, that's more appropriate.

idiot. that's not my team. im from boston, who defeated you 4-2 in the last nba finals. im just saying that the 2000 blazers were more talented than these guys bcoz eddie jones was the only talented member of that squad. idiot.
shitt well your all over their dick like you fucking bought them or something...and my ass that your a boston fan you probality just said that because they beat the lakers
the most talented team ever assembled to not win a title. KObe ShaqJones Van exel horry/ceballos they had 4 all stars. more talented than the 00 blazers
This just goes to show teamwork beats out talent and superstardom any day of the week. These Lakers could have been the greatest team ever made. They had so much talent Kobe, Shaq, Eddie Jones, Van Exel, Elden Campbell, Rick Fox, Robert Horry and so many others. But they usually fell short in the playoffs. Then in 2000 they rebuilt got Glen Rice, let go of Van Exel, Eddie Jones and Campbell and look how the season turned 67 wins, 3 nba titles, need I say more?
you just neglected your own argument. anybody who knows anything about basketball hates that team and if you watch them vs. portland and sactown the next year and think that having your hometown faggot "stars" didnt' matter is retarded. but then again you're from the town of entertainment tonight and joan rivers. make a contribution and i'll still laugh while you bleed pussy.
I remember those days..of Eddie Axel and Kobe..I was shocked when I saw Shaq run the entire court..lol he sure had moves then..he still does..but he's more of a wall now..good times
this right when i started watching basketball..growing up ..i fell in love with this team and in paticular nick van exel's game. WOW. miss this team..this is a great tribute. 4 ALLSTARS!!! fuckin del harris only if we had phil.
We just had too much youth on that team...I mean Kobe was only gettin 7 PPG since he was a rookie straight from HS, and he was nowhere near the 2000's Kobe as a total player.
