@eggman18 yeah based on this one example they're ALL just QTEs and explosions. Heavy Rain is an adventure game, and QTEs are just the mechanic it uses, because in the fast paced scenes it makes more sense than point and click mechanics. I'm not saying it's perfect, but adventures games have always been more about story than gameplay and they've been around for ages. I'm guessing from your screenname that you want more platformers though. Me too, but I still loved Heavy Rain.

Played the demo last night. One part of the demo featured cop Scott Shelby getting into a fight in some woman's apartment, the other part featured some FBI who seems pretty badass.

It was fun but I may end up renting instead of buying. You don't control the action enough in this game for my tastes, but the storyline seems pretty cool so those who are interested in this style of play should find the game to be great.

Its not a mini game, its the same thing in an RPG game where you can choose what you want to say. In this game you can do that and also choose what you want to do as well. He didn't have to do all of that, but the game gives you the choice to. Its an interactive type game. And there is more to it than stuff like this. Can't wait for this game, such a change than all the point and shoot rinse and repeat FPS out there.

Well the concept is that when it comes to computer generated characters, we become less attracted to them as they go from stylized/ "cartoony" to absolute human features. But as these characters become even more lifelike, we become attracted to them once more, even more so.
