Mine is a similar story. I had downloaded Justin's book and searched this video. At the beginning I was like "well, this wasn't as sad as I thought it would be" but when I got to the part when her hair falls out my tears just flooded out because even though I am only twelve and my first prom is ages away, my hair is my greatest beauty and treasure and I'd cry if I lost it. As for those who hate Justin, it's better if we read his book and then know about this video than living on and not knowing

I have heard this song a million and two times since it first came out but tonight when I heard it on the radio it struck a very loud note for me. Just less than two weeks ago my family lost our 15yo Krystal to a form of bone cancer that strikes teenagers. It hit so fast and so hard there was no time to do anything and before we knew it she was gone. I will always cry when I hear this song now. This is Krystal's song, this is the song that belongs to all young ones battling this illness.
