You Altidore haters do realize that in 2009 with Hull Jozy Altidore was only 19 years old correct and still making 28 appearances as a striker and in the English Premier League?

Most English Super Stars never even get into 28 games in the Premier League when they are 19 let alone be first team, or play striker.

Most the people in hull, love Jozy's attitude as he's a nice and quiet lad, but he's strong and fast on the field.

Not quite got the best out of him yet in my opinion, but i was there when he scored the freekick at southend, and the whole stadium where chanting " USA , USA , USA " Lol

@savvuljimthomas - good to get an english perspective on things! i completely agree with you. while jozy hasn't really made much of an impact in the EPL (yet), and to date (if i'm not mistaken), this is his only EPL goal. but he's got a GREAT attitude - very mature and well-spoken - and can only do the US some good in raising the overall awareness of the sport. a better ambassador than donovan, in my humble opinion, but both are great for the game here. thanks for posting, brother!

Before JPA came to RBNY and before Jozy stepped on the pitch, He was nobody and seen as someone that would take years to be a starter in the MLS and was also seen by most MLS managers as not worth the time.

Look at the players drafted before him.
