Indeed Elvis, The Beatles, and Roy Orbison were and are still the best ever.
If these 3 had never excisted, there was never rock or pop music at all.
Miss you Roy every second , minute, hour of every single day. i was present on several concerts in the 1980's, also on yuor last on december 4 1988 in Akron theater New York ,and I was shocked and devastated when I heard my musical inspriation died! Rest in peace my friend
I always thought he had his star a long time ago. This is WAY overdue. It would have been nice to do this years ago, when it should have been done, so that Roy could have seen it. I love his voice and his music. I saw Roy in concert many, many years ago and I'll never forget it.
Why it took so long for him to get his star, I'll never know. I just know that Roy Orbison was and still is the greatest singer who ever lived. A true legend.
Nice movie. I'm looking for some short hollywood material for a Dutch lowbudget musicclip, maybe I can use some cityshots you made? It would be great !
In my opinion the third best artist in my generation, Elvis, and the Beatles , first and second and Roy third, considering there are over 1 million artists not a bad position to hold!!!
Nicely done for a great man... I would hope that all such entertainers understand that they are loved and admired for their skills, talents and creativity and that we need to overlook their excentricities and sometimes foolish behavior. They're human, too!
Thank you for posting such a nice vid. As others have said, it's long overdue. I've loved Roy since I first bought one of his records - in 1963, I guess - the In dreams album. Super guy - sadly missed, along with Elvis, Buddy, Eddie and so many other "real" talents. Les (UK).
Long overdue for Roy!! What a legend. But I can't help thinkin, what would he be thinking lookin down at his sons looking so unresereved, chewing gum and the long long hair, oh well just a thought!!

About time too.
Roy Orbison was one of the greatest singers on this Earth.
Like Elvis, he's a huge loss to this place but, we are the lucky ones to have been privilaged to have experienced their presence & music.
I'll go one better, here's 5stars*****!
