I think the reason they let Fany do the high note is because she is the only one who can go that high. I know Sica can't do it because of her solo cover to this song. Taeyeon's voice is powerful enough but it could ruin her vocal chords. Seohyun was still training her voice. Idk..

im saying that they didnt harmonize "live", as in live-live.

they used the studio recording of the harmonizations on stage, which was part of the instrumental track.

except for the beginning, if you listen closely, there is only one girl singing at a time.

anyways, snsd harmonized live in the beginning...

listen to their other material like "gee jazz version" or "noreul saranghae" by ses. then you'll change your mind. :)
