Here's a quick fact. Yolanda Saldivar originally wanted to create a fan club for Shelly Lares but she turned the offer down. Unfortunately the next singer she asked was Selena and we all know what happened after that. Yolanda clearly had a thing for young women who sang Tejano music, scary. I bet Shelly is glad to this day that she didn't let Yolanda create a fan club for her.
