I was one of them! I was born their first season, spent many a decade as a crazed fan with completely irrational optimism ("next year!"), and cried like a baby when Porter ran back that INT. I don't mean misty eyes, I mean full-on body-shaking sobbing hahaha
43 years of pain dissipated in a single moment - what a beautiful feeling. :-)
