This is a good example of how sharks really don't try to eat/kill humans. He mistook him for bait; gave the tank a taste; then swam away.

Too bad that 'tank' is sometimes a person's leg. :P

Yeah, but what i meant in saying this was a particular good example was becuase the description reads "mistook the diver for bait", which i understood as it meaning that they had already placed bait/chum in the water to attract sharks so they could take pictures of them.

Fortunately for him, it was a "test" bite. Tigers will eat humans and it must have decided his tank wasn't good to eat. The best thing to do about tigers is avoid the water when they are actively hunting (mostly dusk and dawn), stay out of murky water, and steer clear of sandbars and river mouths. It's also wise to keep all your motions in the water smooth. Jerky or sharp motions will trigger their hunting instincts!!
