I'm not French, so I don't have anti-German baggage.

However, the French critics of German policy are correct this time. Germany is trying to use this crisis to impose on the other nations of Europe its economic model and demanding that they abdicate their sovereignty on their budget to technocrats that evidently follow Germany's lead. What of democracy in these proposals?

This model is made to favor Germany and Germany alone. The rest of Europe will suffer so Germany can profit.

Actually the worst nightmare for Germany would be to rule this kindergarten called EU.

Why shouldnt germans cherish Bismarck, who restored Germany's unity. French cherish Napoleon, who invaded almost whole Europe, causing 5 million casualties in two decades of wars. Germany is natural leader of Europe due to its economic wealth and large population. France should be happy with its runner up position in Europe. Strong, self-confident and democratic Germany is what Europe and rest of the world needs. France should swallow its petty vainglory and help Germany to clear this mess up.
