@kimsollecito I'm not saying they don't, but I dislike people making covers of songs no matter who they are or where they're from. I have many British (English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh) friends that think covers suck as well if they're meant to be rhotic. It's not that I hate the accent (in fact, I try to learn every one I can) it's just that I'm a country boy with roots from Texas to South Carolina. I just hate covers.

The Beatles suck at singing this song. You can keep your europop garbage but leave All-American music alone. Especially when Ringo sings the word "star". In America it's pronounced with an R, not like "stah", even singers from Europe and other places today pronounce the "r" when they sing, it's not that hard. They were just lazy. Become rhotic before you sing.

Ringo's didn't have a great range like John or Ringo. But his voice was perfect for country/rockabilly musid. I still think he was the best country singer in The Beatles. Just listen to Beatles songs like Act Naturally and Honey Don't. Listen to Ringo's solo career songs like Beaucoups of Blues, Waiting, Woman Of The Night, and Love Don't Last Long.
