I was playing pikmin on gamecube the other day and the leaves actually looked better than it would on systems like ps3 or 360.

Besides the upgrades to graphics and controls, there aren't enough copies of many old Gamecube games to sell to Wii owners who never had a Gamecube. Nintendo hopes to sell more copies of these games this time around. Also, used sales of Gamecube games make them no money. I, for one, have Pikmin on Gamecube but still plan to get this version because of the upgrades. Same with several other games in the New Play Controls series.

Actually, I think the entire point of the remakes is to make great GameCube titles with new Wii motion control. Gamecube Controller seems unlikely with this game, but you never know!
