Same story with Sergent, Bobridge, C. Meyer and possibly Howard. They will be aiming for the team pursuit in 2012, and after that they'll completely focus on a road career (in which they are already successful, to some extent)

Right now if the US were to enter a team in the team pursuit in a world cup meet our best bet would just be to enter Phinney.
