Victoria does NOT need more land-based sewage treatment plants, because our current, marine-based sewage treatment system, together with source controls, works very well.
Our system benefits both our land and our marine environment, unlike a land-based system which will not make any positive difference to our marine environment but will create thousands of tons of sewage sludge and greenhouse gases.
Your politicians in Victoria should all be charged and jailed for allowing raw sewage to be dumped into the ocean. It is hard to beleive that Victoria is part of Canada, as only a third world nation would be dumping sewage directly into the marine environment.
Being the "City of Denial", I guess the politicians there say "What shit" are you talking about.
@Normalman50 Yes, you are VERY kind. I am from victoria, this does not mean that the "people" from there are are this "shitty". Please be respectful, America's is worse :)
Although crude he brings to light all the woes that have been
concealed in Milton Harbor and in our community for years. The more I speak to my fellow Rye neighbors, the more I find that these problems have been going on for years in full view of Rye City officials. They have just continually chosen to close their eyes.
